This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. The host is used in the interest of a secure, fast and reliable provision of our online offering (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Each time the website is accessed, the host or web server automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically. These are in particular:
browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL, the host name of the accessing computer, the time of the server request and the IP address. If you send us an enquiry via the contact form on our website or by e-mail, we process the data you provide in order to handle and respond to your enquiry.
Data processed: name, e-mail address and the content of your message.
Purpose: handling your enquiry, communication in connection with a possible enrolment and, where applicable, the preparation of a contractual relationship (e.g. booking a language course, a clinical elective or educational leave).
Legal basis: the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (your consent by sending the message) and, insofar as your enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Storage period: we store the data for as long as is necessary to process your enquiry. The data is then deleted, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
Please note: the contact form on this website does not send your message automatically but serves as a non-binding first point of contact. For a binding enquiry, please also send your message directly to info@atahualpa.info.
Fonts (Bunny Fonts): To ensure a uniform display of fonts, this website uses "Bunny Fonts" by BunnyWay d.o.o. (Dunajska cesta 165, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, EU). The fonts are served from servers within the EU. According to the provider, no personal data of visitors is stored or passed on and no cookies are set; no data is transferred to Google. Use is in the interest of a uniform, appealing presentation of our online offering (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Google Maps: On the contact page a Google Maps map can be loaded. The map is only loaded after an explicit click; no data is transferred to Google beforehand. By clicking you consent to loading it (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); your IP address may then be transferred to Google (possibly to the USA). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
YouTube video: The home page embeds a video in extended privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube therefore does not set recognition cookies on playback; however, your IP address may be transferred to YouTube/Google when the video loads. This is based on our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland.
Images and PDF documents (e.g. questionnaires and forms) are served from our own server (this website's domain, atahualpa.info). No images or files are loaded from third-party servers. When this content is retrieved, your IP address is processed as with any visit to the website (see point 2), because this is technically necessary to deliver the content to your browser. This is provided on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
This website does not use any tracking cookies and no analysis or marketing tools to evaluate your usage behaviour. No profiling takes place.
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
